Allotting Core-Hours to non-admin users

Through the portal it is possible to add other users to your account and let them use your available Core Hours (CH). The admin has full control over how many CH each user can request to use at one time. To do this follow these steps:

  • Log in to OnScales portal:
  • There should be an option on the Accounts page to Add A New User click that button


  • Here you will be prompted to add the email address of the account you want to add to your account, this is where you will also decide how many CH that user can request at a time.
  • Click Save and this will add the user to you account

Once an account has been added to the main account, the admin can freely change how many CH a user can use (click on the balance value to assign CH), you can also make other users other admins of the account and then they have all the same privileges as the main admin.
