Help with Model Dimensions Answered

I am needing help to obtain specific material dimensions for a titanium homogeneous model with an array configuration.

Normally I use a table file which reads in my grain data to plot the material.  I have tried to do this with a homogeneous material but I don't believe I am getting the same size as the grain model.

Other parts of my model I am not comfortable with is the way I have my array set up. Line 43 may cause issues when setting up my geometry which affects my keypoints.

I would need help with Lines 43 to 76 Just to make sure my geometry and key points are doing as intended. Line 50 doesn't seem to be getting used although I thought the formula here was important for the array? Then Line 172 where I site my material with the array to get the desired output.

I have commented out all the lines that are relevant to the grain model.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Dave :)

  • Hi Tapiwa.

For some reason, anytime I share my strathclyde one drive OnScale can't access it. I could easily email it over to you if that is Ok?

    Thanks
