Clasical and Molecular Absorption Answered
Hi,
I would like some assistance with applying these methods of attenuation to gas medium I will define in OnScale. I'm not sure if the the available models in OnScale can do this, if they can could I be directed to the relevant document to achieve this, and if not, is there a way that I can implement this in the material?
The aim is to represent the classical and relaxational absoprtion of gas (the total of both, yellow line), Methane example in the image, where we have a region of molecular relaxation absorption before the main classical mechanisms.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Adam,
You can find OnScale's damping models in the command reference under the matr command to see if any suite your intention. We also have this article which might help.
You can use the matr prnt commands to print out your attenuation profile for plotting.
