Converting 2D model to 3D model Answered

I have a 2D axisymmetric model. I wonder if I can convert it to 3D model using any functions such as revolve or any other function. Is this possible or I have to start a 3D model from scratch?

I don't want to solver to show me 3D results after simulating 2D axisymmetric model, I want to construct a 3D model in the first place and see it using "Preview Model" option.

I didn't find any example that explains revolve for example.

  • Hi Ahmad, Unfortunately there is no easy way to convert a model from 2D axisymmetric to 3D, this must be done manually.
