How load pressure middle of the metal? Answered

Hi, I am trying to load a pressure middle of the steel. Then, I will analyze signals which reach to edges of metal for calculate the time difference of signals. But I can't find any example like that load a pressure any place on the metal not the edge of metal.

    Hi Selim,

     

    You can apply a pressure load by specifying the nodes in the model you wish to apply pressure to (using plod sdef) so you can apply the pressure anywhere. If you want to apply it as a point source at (x,y) you can do something like this:

    symb #get {ii jj} clsnode x y

    plod

          pdef myload func

          vctr myvctr 1 0 0

          sdef myload myvctr $ii $ii+1 $jj $jj+1
