Question about box Answered

Hi.

I'm still simulation about point source.

Here is my modeling

My question is signal at focal point depends on box size.

Let's assume I set box as 0.1e-3,

Then I can get 1 MPa at focal point.

But when I set box as 0.05e-3, signal get bigger as twice. 2MPa.

How can I solve this problem?

I think it has to have same energy at focal point.

What I change is only box size.

    Hi H.J,

    If you are using calc avrg, the signal will be affected by the box size as it is taking the average over an area. For 3 mm  box size, the area is 3 times bigger than 1mm box size therefore there is more wave in that area so the energy is higher.
