Force Analysis for SAW device Answered
Hi,
I am new on multiphysics simulation. Sor fat I am enjoying it with InScale
I am trying to apply a certain amount of forces on SAW sensor IDTs to see the change in the electrical voltage and other measurements.
I tried to include plod commands but it seems I am missing something.
Is there any tutorial or suggested guideline for such a problem?
Thanks

Hi Yazan,
Welcome to the forum! I am glad you are enjoying simulating in OnScale.
We do not have an example of exactly what you are describing, however, we do have a simpler example which applies a force to a simple pzt disc. This should give you an idea of how to do this and you should be able to apply this method to your SAW example. OnScale uses the rigd command to apply force, plod is used to apply pressure. In this example, a force driven by a wavelet with amplitude 1 is applied on the top of the disc and the change in electrical measurements is recorded.
I hope this helps you get started. Let me know if you have any questions.
Best Regards,
Chloe
