SAW Resonator Answered

I had designed my own SAW Resonator and fed an input ricker wavelet with driving frequency 1GHz. I had got resonance frequencies as 790MHz and 320MHz. But when I changed the driving frequency to 0.5GHz, the 790MHz and 320MHz resonance frequency disappeared. I got a new resonance frequency at 490MHz. Shouldn't I get the same frequencies that I got before?

    Hi Vigneshwar,

If you are changing the drive frequency you must also change the mesh too. See this article. The resonances might also be different because the input function does not have enough energy at the resonant frequencies (if you take an FFT of the input you will see that there is most energy at the frequency of interest and then this tapers out).
