mshp loss 2D-3D Answered
Hello,
Is it possible to take a thermal loss file generated from an axisymmetric model and apply it in a 3D thermal model? I have been able to this sort of thing with axisymmetric ffld data and was hoping to do something similar for thermal calculations.
If there is no direct way, is there a mechanism for reading in the 2D-axi loss data file and writing out a 3D loss file that can be read into a 3D thermal model?
Thanks,
Michael

Hi Michael,
Not something we have done before.
We will check with the solver team and get back to you.
