symmetric pressure field although the geometry is unsymmetric? Answered
Hi,
I am puzzled by a simulation result.
I simulate air pockets at different positions of a cylinder. In the attached file, I show two scenarios, for each the geometry and the pressure field at the same time step. As I expected, in the second scenario the pressure wave is shielded by the air inclusion at the top. But why does the same thing happen at the bottom?
Is this an indication that I have made a mistake in programming? And if so, which one?
Best regards
Stefanie
