how do you create a curved transducer? Answered

Hi all. anyone know how to create a curved focused beam transducer with onscale. I was thinking of making lots of ringed primitives to create the desired effect but was wondering if there was a quicker way.

Thanks

    Hi Marco,

If you are using Designer Mode this is the quickest way we have to do this so far, we are still developing our designer features. If you are familiar with our code syntax then you can easily do this in Analyst Mode. Here is an example:https://support.onscale.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020816591-Curved-Ceramic

    Best Regards,

  • Hi Chloe,

I am using the code you uploaded to simulate a high frequency transducer, which makes the model very large. With that code is it possible to extrapolate to look at the far field without having to simulate everything? I am trying to define an extrapolation boundary but keep getting errors. Any idea of how to do this?

    Thanks
