Simulation error Answered

When trying to preview model/run on cloud, the following error is occurring:
radial coordinates are both + and -

I have designed a 2D model of PZ26 transducer with two edge electrodes (time_func1 and ground)

Can someone help me resolve this, please?

Thanks,
Akarsha

  • Hi Akarsha,

It looks like you may have accidentally set the model dimension to axisymmetric. You can remove this via Analyst in the flxinp file in line 113.

Alternatively, if you are working from the Designer file you will need to create a new project as the dimension is not editable and should be set at the beginning.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

  • Hi Chloe,

I followed the steps according to this where they have selected axisymmetric:
    https://support.onscale.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002113278-Creating-a-New-Project

I have used only fp26 material.

    Thank you,

  • Hi Akarsha,

Yes for that example it should be set to axisymmertric, however it does not look like you have followed the steps after that to create the correct model. It should look like this:
