  Mitali,

  Welcome to OnScale! Thanks for getting in touch. Please could you do the following instead:

  1. In the Home tab of the ribbon, in the Primitives group, click Rectangle.
  2. In the Properties window, set the material for this primitive.

  Otherwise you should be able to follow the steps as described in the tutorial. Thanks for drawing this to my attention - I'll update the tutorial!
