2D Axisymmetric Radial Poling of Curved Ceramic 回答済み

Using the axis command, I was able to separate the 2D curved element into segments as seen below. When I enter the command to display arrows, there are none, and when I try to estimate on the cloud, it throws an error. (I believe it tells me there is not thickness to my element. I am coming back to this after a couple weeks, so forgive me if this lacks the detail needed) I had tried both cylindrical coordinates and spherical. Both throw the same error.

Is it possible to pole in this direction in a 2-dimensional axisymetrical simulation?
A followup to that that I have not yet encountered, is can I receive a voltage output from this? will assigning an electrode to this interface be more complicated? (I had used a resistor circuit to measure this before, but I am not sure if this will change when poled in this way.

Thank you for any help you can give!

    Hi Dominic,

I'll confirm this with the team but I think radially poling is only avaliable in 3D.

Electrode assignment will become a bit more tricky but connecting circuitry will remain the same.
