Full Matrix Capture (FMC) is a data acquisition process where each array element is sequentially used as a single emitter and all other array elements are used as receivers creating a matrix of scan data. FMC is advantageous in the sense that it captures a high amount of data that may be reused later in many ways.
OnScales efficient mechanical solvers allows Full Matrix Capture (FMC) to be carried out in simulation which then can be post-processed using the Total Focusing Method (TFM) to generate the resultant fully focused inspection images. OnScale offers a wide range of outputs to support our clients preferred post processing tool.
