VDMP command Answered

Hi,

My name is Christiano, and I was using the vdmp command to attenuate an ultrasonic Shear wave. But when I multiplied the shear damping factor by 10, the damping does not increase by 10-times. How does the command apply damping on the ultrasonic wave?

    Hi Christiano,

    Are you able to share your files using your preferred cloud file sharing surface to help debug please?

     

    The shear damping will depend on the value of damping and the frequency the damping is at:

     

    You also must be sure to look at the shear wave using the data array zcrl.
