    Hi Chinmay,

For some reason the .flxinp has disappeared. Could you reupload this please?

  • Hi,

You should be able to access it now (oops). I should also mention that the one I sent was created in Onshape, not Fusion 360 and it gives the same error. It feels like it has something to do with the fact that I'm exporting just a 2d surface, because it's able to load a 3d step file.

  • Also sorry to be a pain. Could you drop the OnScale files you are working with into that drive directory. Just put all of them on .flxinp, flxprt.

Don't forget any material files etc. I need to determine if there is a problem with our solvers/CAD kernel or if this is a user error.

    Thanks,

    Oliver

Ok, this one should have all 3 files. The test material is defined in the .flxinp.

    Thanks,

  • Hey Chinmay,

The orientation of the CAD was issue. You created a 2D surface drew on the x and z axis I rotated the CAD using OnShape.

I uploaded a working example to the drive you shared above.

    Best regards,

    Oliver
