how to define load direction Answered
Hi,
I'm currently using 'Design' and found that there is no 'displacement' in the load type. Is there 'displacemnt' option in the 'analyst'? And if yes what is the syntax of it?
Another question is how I can apply load in different direction. For example, how can I apply velocity/force in negative Z direction? I'm not clear about how to 'scale' for each axis.

Hi Jinny,
There isn't a displacement option in analyst or designer, sorry.
If you want to apply a load in the +Z direction change Scale Z = 0 to Z = 1 and for the -Z direction Z = -1.
It's the same for X and Y
