Joule heating, pezoresistive efect, electromagnetics and drawing geometry 回答済み

Hello I have a few questions about OnScale. In future releases are you going to add ability to draw your geometry from sketch and extrude it (if there is such option, excuse me about my question) and ability to draw more complex MEMS geometies or support for import from Autocad? Also it would be very usefull to be able to simulate piezoresistive effect and joule heating effect (with displacement) in MEMS and electromagnetics in MEMS.

    Hi Stefan,

    We don't offer the ability to draw your geometry you will need to use an external CAD package for that we only offer primitive shapes that can be edited, if you can define your geometry with these shapes then they can be really useful to you but they are limited in what they can do. We are partnering with softMEMS so sometime in the future you will be able to use softMEMS to define your process and export that process to a 3D geometry that can be loaded into OnScale for FEA simulations.

    Currently at the moment we don't simulate piezoresistive effect or joule heating effect, sorry.
