Looking for PMN-PT resonance frequencies 回答済み
Hi there,
I am learning simulation by Onscale software. I have little experience using COMSOL but just for electrical field simulation.
Now, I am trying to simulate the vibration for PMN-30PT single crystal(0.08*2*t mm).
I want to know in each thickness (such as t= 1mm, 0.5 mm, 0.2 mm, or 0.1 mm) has different resonance frequencies.
For example, I am looking for a 9 MHz central frequency design. I don’t know which thickness is the best design for a 9 MHz transducer.
Based on the thickness mode resonance frequency, the sample thickness is between 0.3 mm to 0.2 mm.
I do the simulation and get some results. However, the simulation results (impedance and phase) are totally away from the real case.
I am not sure which part is wrong. Could you help me to figure it out?
It supposes to be an easy model, but I can’t get the right simulation.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks!

Hi Wei-Yi,
If you send your model files to us someone can take a look to ensure the model is set up correctly. If your impedance is not matching it could be due to material properties. If you could include as much detail in your email as you can that will help us figure out the problem.
Best Regards,
Chloe
Hi Chloe,
Thanks for your reply. Oliver is helping me now! Thanks!
