Cartesian to Polar/cylindrical coordinates 回答済み
I would like to model a cylindrical transducer which is poled in thickness mode. I am having difficulty in assigning the poling direction in the Cartesian coordinate system. How do I go about it?
Thanks

Hi Shruthi,
This is a good question. Here is some code you can use for the basic definitions i.e. positive y direction etc.
axis
form vctr
defn posx car2 0. 0. 0. 1. 0. 0. 0. 1. 0. /* Positive X Direction
defn negx car2 0. 0. 0. -1. 0. 0. 0. 1. 0. /* Negative X Direction
defn posy car2 0. 0. 0. 0. 1. 0. 0. 0. 1. /* Positive Y Direction
defn negy car2 0. 0. 0. 0. -1. 0. 0. 0. 1. /* Negative Y Direction
defn posz car2 0. 0. 0. 0. 0. 1. 1. 0. 0. /* Positive Z Direction
defn negz car2 0. 0. 0. 0. 0. -1. 1. 0. 0. /* Negative Z Direction
end
You would then just specify the matr axis like so:
matr
axis material_name posy
end
I hope this helps you. Take a look at axis defn in our Command Reference for more detailed syntax description.
Best Regards,
Chloe
