what is the meaning of * in the flxinp file Answered

Hi,

can I ask what the meaning of '*' in the syntax of flxinp file? For example in the CFRP_laminate example (Line 286 and 314 respectively), there is 

avrg txav aprs * nod2 tx1 tx2   /* Calculate transducer recieved signal

and

pout
hist func 
histname avrg * all 
end

May i know what is * in each of the line? Thanks.

    Hey Jinny,

    The * sets that parameter to it's default value in the POUT case the default value is a.

    Have a look at the documentation entry of calc avrg for more information on that command
