Transformer 回答済み
Dear,
I'm trying to add a transformer to the transducer model to match the impedance, transducer impedance is 284. Went to add a circuit>> transformer>> 0.177 as a turn ratio. The output remained the same as without a transformer.
Any input is appreciated.
Sincerely,
SD

Hi SD,
To calculate the impedance with the transformer you will need to take the charge at the source to see the effect of the transformer on the transducer (post-processor takes the charge on the electrode of the transducer). If you look up the CIRC command, the notes at the bottom detail how to get Voltage, Charge or Current records out of the simulation. You can then use Review to calculate impedance.
Best Regards,
Chloe
Dear Allison,
Thank you for your reply.
In the post-processor window, pressed on the charge and saw the graph, from there on the top right, pressed the impedance option and saw the graph of the impedance, however, the impedance result did not change even after adding the transformer. I'm not sure what is CIRC command to calculate the impedance.
looking forward to your reply.
Sincerely,
SD
SD,
You will need to use Review to calculate the impedance because the impedance calculation in the Post Processor uses the charge record output from your simulation which is at the transducer, not the source. Look at the crtq data array:
to output charge at the source.

Chloe
Dear,
Went through the Review, wrote the example code with the file name added, got my data, revinp, and revpt, but no graph popped up to show impedance. All the files are in one file with .flxhst file. Do not know where I went wrong.
Sincerely,
