Question about changing circuit during simulation execution 回答済み

Hello,

I am writting this post to ask a question about changing circuit during simulation execution.

I modelled whole pulse-echo system including reflector and run the simulation for the complete time for pressure wave to transmit and reflect from the target.

For this, I designed Tx and Rx circuit, but

What I am suffering from is I do not know how to swap the circuit from Tx to Rx during the simulation execution.

Can you explain how?

It would be grateful if you explain the method with some short example code.

Thank you,

Sincerely,

Jinho Sung.

    Hi there,

Here is an example that has Tx and Rx in a single model:

You are correct, you just use a Tx circuit and Rx circuit. Hopefully looking at the code and running the model will help you better understand.

  • Thank you for your prompt and kind reply.

However, there is two problems when I run your example code.

    1. "SLVR PARD" is not working in my version. I am using PZFlex 2014, so I got an error message, "Illegal solver type --- pard"

So, I locked "SLVR PARD" code, and run then,

    2. I got an error message, " electrode previously defined as a bc - top"

Can you give me more advice in this situation?

    Thank you,

    Sinderely,

    Jinho Sung.

  • Hi Jinho Sung,

These errors are likely due to the old version of PZFlex you are using. I know this model works well in OnScale, you can sign up for free and get 10 free core hours which you can use to run this model. Here is how you create an OnScale account: https://support.onscale.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005535831-Creating-an-OnScale-Account

  • Dear Sir,

Thank you for the confirmation and information that 10 free core hours.

However, after 10 free hours, it is difficult to get new version of PZFlex due to budget as you know,

I would really appreciate if you give me another recommendation.

(I remember that an example code about swapping circuit in one source code was posted in the user forum. But I cannot find the code anymore because of webpage renewal.)

    Thank you,

    Sincerely,

    Jinho Sung

  • Hi Jinho Sung,

This is the example that swaps the circuit. The only other thing I can recommend is to try using separate transmit and receive models. If you are still experiencing problems, send your files over to support@onscale.com and someone will have a look at them for you.

    Best regards,

    Team OnScale.
