Time difference of Ricker Wavelet 回答済み

I'm trying to do a tutorial.

There is a difference in the time axis during the time function designation.

The tutorial starts at 0 seconds.

My window with the same setting starts with a value of 2e-06.

When given a time delay of 2 seconds, the graph begins at 0 seconds.

And when given 4 seconds, the central peak time is the same.

I'm confused.

    Hi Vincent,

There appears to be some bugs in the tool (notice the time delay is in seconds but applies in microseconds). The peak of the Ricker Wavelet should be at 4 us when there is zero time delay so you should be able to work around this for now.

    Apologies for the inconvenience.

    Best Regards,

    Chloe

Could you please provide a link to the tutorial this is from?

  • Hi Chloe,

This tutorial is "Adding a Forcing Function".

    https://support.onscale.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002119058-Adding-a-Forcing-Function

I think this part is updated in the middle.

Because this is also the same in the tutorial that contains other "Ricker Wavelet" functions.

For example, courses("PZT Disc in OnScale Designer Mode") on YouTube are also the same form.

    Thanks,

    Vincent
